The hero in last season's Penn State and Ohio State game sounds relaxed. Pat Devlin describes the last year of his life with no sense of turmoil or regret.

As if he was meant to be here, about 175 miles from Happy Valley on this "beautiful campus" in Newark, Del. Perhaps he is the next good -- maybe even great -- quarterback to play at the University of Delaware. After all, this is where Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco landed after his playing career stalled at Pitt.

Devlin makes it seem as though he has done nothing out of the ordinary. One year he came from the sidelines to lead an undefeated Nittany Lions team to a fourth-quarter, come-from-behind victory against one of the most feared teams in the Big Ten. The next season, he's chilling in another state, playing for another school -- one about half the size of Penn State.
